Reassembled the left half of the horizontal stabilizer Friday night in preparation for riveting.
Riveted the nose ribs myself with only the usual issue for nose ribs: how to get a bucking bar in there. I used the yoke from my squeezer which suited the purpose as well as anything. Then I partly assembeled the main [...]
Spent an hour this morning prepping two ribs that were replacements: one had three spar rivets drilled out, and had its holes w-a-a-y enlarged too much. The other was the victim of the dreaded squeezer-yips when dimpling (resulting in a double hole).
Both replacements have been drilled, deburred, scotchbrited, dimpled, primed and are awaiting installation.
JMR and I checked in the wing kit today. Didn’t go into all the subkits, just checked them in by the subkit number.
Spent Monday overhauling the shop to give me more work room. Spen $150 + tax on three heavyduty shelving units, 48″ x 24″ x 72″ (5 shelves). Two are shelves and one became a double worktable unit.
The wings arrived this morning! $204.76 shipping from Oregon. JMR, Gary and Algie helped inload the boxes (375 lb total) and open them up.

Disassembled, deburred, dimpled and countersunk vertical stabilizer. All that remains is dimple-tabling the interior skin holes, priming and riveting…my guess is about three hours remain.
